The Q&A Archives: annuals

Question: I have a covered patio (breeze way) What container plants can I have that will bloom without direct sun light. I have several tropical plants.

Answer: Because of the lack of direct sunshine your choices are limited, but Trachelospermum jasminoides (Star Jasmine) and Parthenocissus (Virginia Creeper) will work in the area you describe. Star Jasmine will bloom most reliably and is evergreen. Virginia Creeper is deciduous. Best wishes with your new vine!
