I had tall fescue sod installed on a new property in February. Immediately upon installation, I noticed that some of the rolls were a lighter color than the others. It appears as if the sod came from separate fields. The color difference is still noticable after 90 days. Is there something I can apply that will fix this problem? Note: I live in So. CA and have applied Scott's Turf Builder once already. Thanks for your help.

Sometimes the color differences in newly installed sod is simply because some of the strips were reversed when they were laid. 90 days is a long time to wait for the grass to outgrow this condition! It might be that the grasses are actually different types, in which case they may never match, no matter how often you water or fertilize. I'd contact the installer and ask them to come inspect the sod. If there were two different types of sod installed, they should replace the off-color sections. Best wishes with your new lawn!
