The Q&A Archives: Blue Ice Cypress

Question: I have two arizona

Answer: These cypress are unfortunately not all that well suited to growing in your area. They are native to a hot dry region and dislike humidity, they also do poorly in soil that is not perfectly well drained. While I suspect your plants may be objecting to the soil drainage conditions and also humidity, they may have a fungal problem as well. Take care that you are not overwatering them. I would strongly suggest you consult with your county extension and/or retailer if they are new and try to get a more specific diagnosis of what is affecting them. Based on that, you can decide how to proceed.
