I planted a Goldenflame honeysuckle this spring and the leaves have begun to turn yellow and mottled. Any suggestions?

It's normal for the oldest leaves to turn yellow and brown before they drop. Your honeysuckle will continue to grow new foliage all summer long. I usually cut the vines down in the winter time to remove the oldest foliage. Then in the spring, all the vines and leaves are fresh and new and I avoid the yellowing and browning of the older leaves. Enjoy your garden!
