| I have purchased a new home that came without any landscaping in the back yard. The house is a rental property, so I just want to put in some grass, or grass seed. Is there a grass seed that I can plant that is durable and I wont have to use top soil for? Either way, what type of grass would you suggest, the house is located in Oceanside, CA? | Margarita, Tall fescue is probably your best bet for those conditions. It is best established in the fall as the start of the cooler season.
