Some of the best grape varieties for mild winter, hot summer areas such as yours include Black Monukka, Cardinal, Emperor, Flame Seedless, Golden Muscat, Niabel, Perlette, Thompson Seedless, and Tokay. The best variety for you depends upon what you plan to do with the grapes. For fresh table use, choose Flame Seedless, Cardinal or Thompson Seedless; for wine, jelly or fresh eating, try Black Monukka. Tokay is a pale to dark red fruit which is good for fresh eating or for wine.

Hope the above information helps you choose just the right grape!
