I'm going to be planting some new trees in berms around a swimming pool we just built. Can I build the berms out of

I would use a good quality soil as the majority of tree feeder roots will run about two feet deep. However, top soil is not a regulated product so I would suggest you have soil tests run on the soil before you purchase it. Your local county extension should be able to help you with testing the soil and determining if it will be suitable for the trees you want to plant. Good luck with your project.
