I bought Astilbe plants from a Landscaper that sells Monrovia products. My plants have plenty of water, I have used Miracle Grow on them, but they have taken on a light green leaf and some of them have turned brown on the edges and have curled. I'm confused. I've grown them before and they did so well. Some of the plant have blooms, but not standing up strong. Others have yet to even start shooting up their blooms. Any advice?

Pale foliage can indicate too much sunshine or poorly draining soils. Fertilizing should help green the foliage up. Water deeply when the top inch of soil dries out. If you've recently transplanted your astilbes, they may also be going through a little transplant stress. Be patient with your plants and they should perk up within a few weeks. I hope so!
