I am planning to purchase some Glossy Abelia, but I am not familar with the term Evergreen -Semi-evergreen. What exactly does that mean.
I am hoping it will keep its leaves in the winter.

In your gardening region you can expect Abelia to remain evergreen throughout the winter months. The term evergreen-semi-evergreen simply means that the plant will lose some but not all of its leaves sometime during the year.
