Stephen,

I would suggest you consider the following:

BRIGHT 'N TIGHT? CAROLINA LAUREL
Prunus caroliniana 'Monus'
Moderate grower to 8 to 10 feet tall, 6 to 8 feet wide, larger if untrimmed.

DWARF BURFORD HOLLY
Ilex cornuta 'Dwarf Burford'
Slow grower to 4 to 6 feet tall and wide.

SKY PENCIL JAPANESE HOLLY
Ilex crenata 'Sky Pencil'
Grows 6 to 8 feet tall and 2 to 3 feet wide.

HICK`S YEW
Taxus x media 'Hicksii'
Slow grower to 10 to 12 feet tall, 3 to 4 feet wide, larger with age.

With a little shaping even the wider ones listed above both would work.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
