| Bamboo is difficult to eradicate because its root system is very persistent. You can begin by cutting it down to the ground, dig out whatever you can, and then routinely break off or kick over any new shoots starting up from the ground. You can also paint the new shoots with an herbicide containing glyphosate. Eventually the roots should become exhausted and stop sending up new growth. Good luck! |
