I would like to use potted plants as center pieces and decorations for my wedding, so that my guests can take them home and plant them. I am not a gardener, so I don't know what is best, but would like something that is in bloom at the end of July with great flowers and foliage. Some plants that I might think of are: gardenia, hydrangeas, begonia's. What do you recommend and where would recommend I go to actually get a hold of them?
Thanks,
Leena

Your choice of plants is only limited by your imagination. Floral supply shops can order 4" pots of practically anything at practically any time of year. There are some lovely calla lilies in almost any color of the rainbow, gardenias or star jasmines with pure white flowers, or begonias in pastel pinks or vibrant reds. Contact your florist about the decorations and they can either order for you or suggest a source. You might also try phoning a local greenhouse or nursery. Often they can order what they don't already have on hand. Best wishes with your decorations and with your wedding!
