How do I get rid of liverwort? It most likely got it's start in my flowerbeds and garden from local nursery stock.

Liverwort thrives in moist, compacted, acidic soils. You can discourage it by cultivating your garden beds, raking up the debris, then mulching over the bare earth with an organic mulch material (compost, shredded bark, etc.).
