The Q&A Archives: Verbascum

Question: I am starting some verbascum seeds. Would flats or pots be best?

Answer: Verbascum thapsis (Mullein) are vigorous plants, almost weedy. I'd start them in flats and transplant them to pots when they're about two inches across. They'll reach 3-4 feet high at maturity.
