I want to plant the Hetz Midget Arborvitae right up to the front of my house and I was wondering if I had to worry about the roots growing under my home? Also my septic is in my front yard and will the root's grow into that as well?

The arborvitae will only reach 2 to 4 feet in height and 3-5 feet wide. The roots of these small shrubs will barely reach 6-8" into the soil. You can plant them quite close to your house and the roots should not grow deep enough to come anywhere near your septic drainfield.
