I live in Southeast Texas where it stays pretty much warm. My yard is mostly shaded. I am trying to find out if there is a potted/hanging plant that will live and bloom without having a lot of sun.

Kelinda,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. We are transitioning to a new Q&A system and your question was unfortunately lost in the transition. I have discovered it now and hope this reply is not too late to be of help.

There are many plants that would do well for you. Many would need to come in for winter as they are rather tropical and hanging in the air would get really cold in a bad winter cold snap.

Some options include dwarf ivy (many types), houseplants such as pothos and Swedish ivy, liriope, Azetec grass, and ferns (many types).

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
