bamboo multiplex. plants currently 4-5 feet tall. using for screening againts back fence. can i succeccfully seperate culms at planting to form a row of bamboo instead of planting the whole clump in one spot?

Answer: Golden Goddess is a clumping type bamboo and you should be able to divide the clumps at planting time. Make sure each division has a healthy portion of roots along with several culms with leaves attached. Each division will grow into a clump as they mature.
