Hi. I bought an allgold scotch broom and although it's considered deciduous, is it really? Could you tell me what it does, for instance does it just turn all brown and look woody? Thanks.

Scotch broom loses its leaves in the winter but the stems of the plant will remain a greenish color. It never really looks woody, the way other deciduous shubs can look in the winter.
