We have pagoda dogwoods at our garden center. And they are wilting in the pot, we water them at least 1 a day and I put an inch of topsoil and an inch and a half of mulch to protect the roots, are there any other suggestions? |
This Q&A format is intended for homeowners to ask gardening questions. The questions come to the National Gardening Association and not to Monrovia. Since you are a professional, I would suggest you contact your county extension and see if they can help you diagnose the problem. Based on knowing that, you can determine how to proceed. It is possible they have outgrown their containers and become rootbound for example, or, if the soil is evenly moist there may be a root issue of some other kind. Good luck with the dogwoods! |
