There are so many types of tomatoes, what kind should I plant? Taste is my first priority and space is not a problem. A tomato of good size would also be nice.

Decisions, decisions, decisions. I'd plant several varieties so I'd have fresh tomatoes all season. Start with Early Girl (54 days to maturity), then Big Boy (78 days). Supersteak is another great tomato that I like. Then, just for fun, plant a yellow one - Sweet Tangerine is brand new this year. If you like to can, try a paste tomato like viva Italia. You can make great sauces with it!
