We have moved to new home, and we would like to use seed for the lawn, bur recently we heard from a friend about grass seeds comes in sheet form with a fertilizer, but he doesn't know anyting about it,

I would love to get more details about it.

There are seed mats available but they're normally used for patching bare spots in established lawns. You could, however, use them to plant a new lawn. What's nice about this method is that you simply lay out the mats, anchor them down and keep them watered. The all-natural plant fibers will completely degrade over 90 to 180 days, depending on your climate, releasing Nitrogen to help plants get a healthy start.
