I have several pumbagos..they are not blooming very well this year..they get sun....I didprune them, but maybe too late..Now they are very bushy and healthy looking, but few blooms...I'm wondering if I can cut them back now, so the sun can get to them better..will they develop more buds and bloom if I cut them back now?

Shirley,

You can cut them back but each pruning delays blooming until they can produce new shoots and get the time needed to set bloom buds on them. I would wait unless you feel they are really misshapen and in need of pruning.
