I have a Eucalyptus plant outside, it is turning brown and looks like it is dying.
Do you have any suggestions as to why or how to prevent it from dying?
How does one care for a Eucalyptus plant outside?

Linda,

There cause is most likely root related. Either the roots are dry or have suffered some injury (perhaps from transplanting or dry soil), or an excessive application of fertilizer has burned the roots. If overfertilizing is likely try drenching the soil to wash excess salts out of the root zone. Otherwise try to water enough to keep the soil moist but don't keep it soggy wet. If the initial damage was not too severe it should pull out of it and be fine.
