Recently planted several White Bird of Paradise plants. Why do the leaves roll-up and turn in during the day? Is it due to direct sunlight? The leaves will flatten out during the night, then will roll-in the next day. Plants appear to be strong.

Randall,

The heat and sun may be causing them to do that to try and conserve moisture. Keep the soil adequately moist but not at all soggy wet. They should be fine.
