The Q&A Archives: Planting golden sunrise

Question: How far apart should golden sunrise (spiraea x bumalda 'Monhud')be planted fron one another?

Answer: This plant grows three to four feet tall and at least that wide. Since you will be trimming them back quite hard each spring, I would suggest putting them about three to four feet apart. That way they will blend together at the edges by mid summer. Enjoy your new spireas!
