I have bought two of your trees. Please send me more information on plant care. I purchased a Kilmarnock Willow and a Weeping Threadleaf Arborvitae. The willow has buds on it so I think it is going to bloom again with pussy willows. The Weeping threadleaf Arborvitae, I have never seen before, and know nothing about. The nursery said I could put them both in the shade. They do not get direct sunlight.
Thank you

I suggest you verify with your local nursery the specific exposure you will have them in. Monrovia lists both of these as full sun plants. However, in the intense sun of Arizona, many non-native plants that are listed as full sun, can't take it, doing better with shade in the hot afternoon. Arborvitae is one example. However, full sun plants still typically need some sun, such as morning (eastern) exposure. Your nursery may be familiar with the growing conditions of these plants in your area, and perhaps they can indeed take full shade, although it's a bit unusual. I'd suggest you speak with the manager or someone who is really familiar with the plants' needs. Good luck!
