| I have 6 dwarf english laural that are two years in ground. They are about feet tall. The leaves get black spots and turn yellow and some just seem to turn yellow without spotting. When they are green they seem to have an appearance that I would describe as a greyish mottled look. Some leaves have irregularly shaped holes eaten in the center and somtimes have been eaten along the edges I pick the yellow leaves off and destroy them but it is required a couple of times a week. The condition seems to be getting worse. I have been spraying with a combination fungicide/insectiside. The brand name is Immunex |
| Based on your description I am not certain what is affecting your plants although it sounds as though you may have some insect and disease problems both. I would strongly suggest you work with your local county extension to obtain a specific diagnosis of the problem(s) before you continue spraying. Once you know the exact culprit(s) they will be able to help you determine how best to treat it and with what. If a chemical control is needed they can tell you how and when to apply it for the best results, also then be sure to read and carefully follow all of the label instructions. |
