Should the seed pods that occur after flowering but cut off, will this help in more flowering

Brooms (Cytisus) bloom only once a season, but pruning immediately after bloom will help control the size and shape of your plant. I usually prune mine after the flowers fade and before the seed pods develop. Enjoy your Spanish broom!
