The Q&A Archives: Agapanthus care

Question: If the bloom doesn't reoccur on my Midknight Blue Agapanthus or the Queen Anne Lily of the Nile, do I cut the stem back? Some are blooming constantly; two are not.
Thank you.

Answer: You can cut off the flowering stem when all the flowers are spent; reblooming agapanthus need 6-8 weeks to recuperate after flowering and then will send up a new flower stalk. Enjoy!
