How do you get the hair and dead fronds off of the Palm?
I have cut them where they come together in a V. Then you can pull in both directions. I have started from the bottom but am really having trouble with the hair. What tools are availible for this job? I have a hand saw, snips and a utility knife.
Thank you for your time.

It takes a little practice to become skillful in removing all the old debris from where a palm frond is attached to the trunk, but you can do it with a hand saw and finish up the fine work with a sharp utility knife. It's easier to remove the hairs if you wait until they are completely dry. Anything left after your pruning session will eventually dry up and weather away.
