What's the best fertilizer? Why do some leaves turn yellow even though I am not overwatering and it gets a lot of sun?

You can feed your tree with an all-purpose 10-10-10 fertilizer (in amounts as recommended on the package). It's normal for some leaves to turn yellow and drop during the growing season. As long as your tree is putting out new foliage and looks otherwise healthy, I wouldn't worry too much about a few shedding leaves. Enjoy your tree!
