I recently moved into a old home and had to tear out the existing lawn. I've now leveled area and prepped it for seed, but I'm wondering how hot it can be before the seed won't germinate. Right now it's about 106 degrees daily here. Do I need to wait until fall to seed the area?

Assuming you are seeding with Bermuda, it is recommended to seed it in the summer months when it is hot, as that is when this warm-season grass thrives. You will likely have to water 3 to 4 times daily for 5 to 10 minutes each time to keep the soil consistently moist. Good luck!
