We purchased 3 compact sungold cypress that were yellow as they should be. Later we had to order 3 more 1 gallon size compact sungold cypress which were delivered and were green rather than yellow. They have now been in the ground for 2 years and the green ones have not turned yellow as the original other three are presently. Therefore we have three yellow compact sunglold cypress and three additional that are still green. All are in full sun most of the day in Cincinnati midwest weather. How do we get them to turn Yellow? No one here has a answer.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of anything you can do to turn them yellow; they will be greener in less sun and more golden in more sun, so if the amount of sunshine they all receive is about the same, then perhaps the green ones were mislabeled? I'm sorry I can't be more encouraging.
