My majestic beauty fruitless olive tree is dropping leaves and the top of the tree is becoming leafless. Too much watering? or not enough?

When trees begin to drop leaves during the summer months it usually indicates a root stress problem. Too little water, poor soil drainage, or too much water can all cause the same symptoms. Try putting your tree on a regular watering schedule; water deeply once each week throughout the growing season. Your tree may not replace the lost leaves this summer but should replace them during the natural growth spurt next spring. Hope so!
