A Landscape plan of mine called for a plant, but unable to locate. It was a Razzledazzle Chinese Fringe. I thought maybe your Razzleberri Chinese Fringe would be a good substitute. Found someone local to sell me this plant, but kept getting the runaround. I was eventually told the plant will not be available now till the end of the year. What can you tell me on the availability of either plant, cost, etc. My plan calls for 18 plants. Thank You.

James,

The person who did your landscape plan was mistaken. I find no reference to a Razzledazzle variety existing. Razzleberri is what they most likely intended.

Unfortunately we at the Q&A service don't have information on which plants are sold at the many retailers who carry Monrovia plants. Your best bet is to contact a local retailer and see if they can get the plants you are interested in.

Due to the seasonal nature of their product and limited quantities on many varieties, each garden center will offer a different array of plants. Not all plants are available in all regions at all times. If the plant you are looking for is not available, the garden center may be able to recommend a substitute plant appropriate for your unique garden conditions.

Check out the following web site. It has a box for you to enter your zip code and will then give you a list of local retailers that carry Monrovia plants:
