| I am planting several Mexican fan palms in our yard. I have underground sprinklers and pool pipes that I want to ensure do not cause problems. How deep do the palm roots grow? How far from a fence and/or pool should the plams be planted? Thanks! Greg |
| Greg, Those roots should not be a problem they go deep and shallow too, much like grass roots, just a lot larger. If you can plant the palm at least 4 or 5 feet from the pool it should be fine. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
