I seeded my lawn in spring, the grass was doing fine until i got the allergiesand I couldn't take care of it for almost 3 weeks. But now it turned brown in some areas and in others got bare spots and I could see some insects on it. What can I do to get the green grass back and get rid of the insects.

I hope you are feeling better. This is the worst time of year to try to patch a lawn, so I would suggest you cover the bare areas with clean weed free straw to hold down dust and weeds and then seed again in late August. You may want to consult with your local county extension to obtain a specific identification of the insests you have seen and based on knowing exactly what they are, determine whether or not they need to be controlled and if so, the best way to do that. They can also help you troubleshoot the areas that have failed from your first seeding. Good luck wiht your lawn!
