Unfortunately, cherries are potentially subject to a wide variety of pests and disease problems and based on your description I am unable to make a firm diagnosis of what is happening to your cherry tree. I would suggest you consult with your county extension to try to get a firm identification of the problem(s) and then once you know that, decide how to proceed. If it is something that can be treated they will be able to tell you how to do that, what to use and how/when to apply it. I hope your tree can be saved.
