How do you transplant from a summer flowering plant in a hanging basket? |
To transplant something you would dig it up roots and all and then plant it elsewhere, either into another container or into the ground. Keep it well watered after planting so that the roots can become established in the new location. I should mention that midsummer is the most stressful time to transplant so if this is a perennial you might want to wait until late August to increase its chance of surviving the move. If it is an annual, it may not be worth moving -- since it will not survive the winter anyway. I hope this answers your question. |
