My pomegranate does not produce fuit, only huge blossoms. What is it lacking?

There are both fruit-bearing and ornamental pomegranate trees. Ornamental trees will flower beautifully, but will never produce fruit. If yours is a fruit-bearing variety, it may be too young to produce fruit. Some trees need 5-6 years to mature enough to develop fruit. If you submit another question with the name of your pomegranate tree, we'll research it to see if it is ornamental or fruit-bearing.
