Are Latana perennials or annuals? How do I start new seedlings? Thanks |
Lantana is perennial (or shrub-like) in warmer climates such as Florida. In your area it would be grown as an annual, or you could grow it as a container plant outside in the summer and indoors each winter. Most lantanas are started as rooted cuttings rather than by seed. If you want to propagate one, this is a good time of year to try and here are some instructions on how to do that. You may need to cut and paste the url into your browser to make it work correctly. http://lancaster.unl.edu/nebli... http://muextension.missouri.ed... http://www.ca.uky.edu/agc/pubs...
