| WE HAVE HAD A CHINESE PISTACHO TREE IN OUR BACK YARD FOR 9 YEARS AND THIS SUMMER AFTER IT'S LEAVES CAME OUT, AND IT LOOKED REAL GOOD, WE HAVE NOTICED THAT ALOT OF THE LEAVES TURING BROWN SORTA LIKE THEY ARE BURNT. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO OUR TREES BEFORE (AS WE HAVE ONE PLANTED IN THE FRONT YARD ALSO WHICH LOOKS PERFECTLY FINE). DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS ON WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE TREE? THANK YOU |
| Donna, It is either the effects of the drought (those trees have gotten larger each year and their demand increase accordingly), or perhaps damage from a weed killer such as might be in a weed and feed lawn fertilizer. There is nothing to fix the weed killer injury but time. The drought solution is of course obvious. When you water give a good soaking by sprinklers appling an inch in a rain gauge set on the ground.
