The Q&A Archives: Dwarf Bottlebrush

Question: I have plantes 8 Dwarf Bottlebrush in a row in a semi-shaded area. after a few days one plant has dropped almost all of The leaves, a few others are starting to drop leaves, and the rest are doing fine. What could cause This?

Answer: Kevin,

Something is shocking the root system. Drought, soggy soil, root injury in transplanting, roots drying out prior to transplanting (set in sun longer?) all are possibilities. Try to keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy and hopefully if whatever damage caused this is not too severe the plants should pull out of it in a few weeks.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
