1) I am having a very difficult time finding Japanese Sky Pencil Holly in the area. I purchased 4 last year and need 7 more appoximately 3-4' tall. Do you carry this type of shrub and how can I locate a dealer that carries them.
2) We have a 25 year old Peach Tree that has not been healthy in over 10 years. Sap seeps out of the bark of the tree and the peaches that grow also have sap seeping out of them. We really want to save this tree and bring it back to life. What can I do?

Unfortunately I have no way to check which nurseries would have this plant in stock on hand, so you would still need to check with them directly and see. They are independent stores and carry Monrovia and other products; if they don't have any right now they may be able to order what you need now or for next spring. There is a dealer locator by zip code at the web site to help with contact information.

As far as the peach tree goes, there are many possible causes for the symptoms you described but I would tend to suspect some borer damage and possibly a fungal problem as well. Most peach trees do need some preventive care and spraying to keep them healthy. I would strongly suggest you work with your local county extension to determine exactly what is causing the problem(s) and then once you know that, decide if it can be saved and then work out a routine program to care for the tree. Your spraying (what to use and exactly when to apply it) will be based on what is affecting the tree plus the weather each year. Good luck with your tree!
