| I havean aphrodite rose of sharon, bloomed beautifully this year until japanes beetles came in about 3 weeks ago, have sprayed it for beetles about 1 a week, have pleny of buds left on plant, but they are not blossoming out, what can I do to get it to blossom out. Thanks |
| Lucille, Just keep the soil adequately moist and give it some time. The beetle attack likely removed quite a bit of foliage and this means the tree's ability to produce energy is limited. It will first try to reestablish good foliage cover and in time should bloom again. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
