WOULD YOU TELL ME WHEN AND HOW TO PRUNE MY SUMMER PRODUCING BLACKBERRIES AND RASBERRIES. ALSO, CAN I PLANT BOTH BERRIES NEAR EACH OTHER OR WILL ONE TAKE OVER THE OTHER?

Brambles (blackberries and raspberries) can be difficult to control so you need to plan ahead for how to space them and how to trellis them. To some extent the methods you use will determine the pruning needs -- as will the specific varieties you grow. Here are some information sheets you may find helpful. You may need to cut and paste the complete url into your browser to make it work correctly.

I hope this helps!
