The Q&A Archives: Getting rid of Mimosa trees

Question: I have a few small Mimosa trees in my yard and I want to stop them from growing, how can I do this?

Answer: You maybe able to dig them out, or you could cut them down and continue removing any new growth as soon as it appears until the roots are exhausted. Or, you could treat them with an herbicide containing glyphosate applied and reapplied per the label instructions. Good luck with your project!
