When a rose bush flowers and you have tons of roses, are you supposed to cut all flowers to make room for more flowering and where do you cut the rose stems?

The best approach is to cut off the roses as they begin to fade. Cut the stem down to a 5-leaflet leaf and your rose bush will send up new flowering stems. If you keep the old roses pruned off, your rose bush should produce an abundance of roses all season long. Enjoy!
