Some perennials for sun include coreopsis, yarrow, butterfly weed (asclepias), lavender, catmint, gaillardia. For bulbs, try bearded iris, gayfeather (liatris), and glads. For sun-loving foliage plants consider herb plants such as artemesia and sage, which have interesting colors and textures. I'm not sure exactly what you are asking in the second part of your question. Please send a more specific question to the Q&A site. Thanks!
