How and when can I prune my dappled willow? It is growing beautifully and I would like to keep its shape.

This large shrub is usually pruned in late winter to early spring. It may be cut back quite hard to control size and direct its shape. If additional size control or shaping is needed it can be pruned again in early and mid summer. I would not prune it in late summer or fall as this can stimulate extra growth that will not harden before winter. Enjoy your dappled willow!
